Shipping FAQs


FULFILLMENT FIRST! 😊

  1. An order is first received by our fulfillment team.
  2. The order is then fulfilled within 1-3 business days at our Provincetown store, Monday thru Wednesday, for Monday through Saturday deliveries by USPS.
  3. The order is dropped off at our local USPS station for shipping.

SHIPPING OPTIONS

  • USPS Priority Mail: Estimated 3-5 business day* delivery window after fulfillment.
  • USPS Priority Mail Express: Estimated 2-3 business day* delivery window after fulfillment.

After an online order is received, fulfilled, and packaged for shipping (usually 1-3 business days*), it’s ready for shipping. Estimated shipping timeframes are based on the USPS shipping option you choose. We’ll email you a tracking number link as soon as your order is out the door.

Because our treats are perishable, orders ship Monday thru Wednesday for delivery by USPS Mondays thru Saturdays. 

*USPS deliveries can take more than five (5) business days in rare instances. Provincetown Fudge Factory does not guarantee USPS delivery date estimates as delivery speed and routes are controlled by USPS.

We ship orders via USPS Priority Mail to the 48 contiguous US states and Washington D.C. within 3-5 business days.

KEEPING COOL WHEN THE WEATHER IS HOT

Is it summer? Are you in a year-round warm state? (see Delivery Zones map below) 
To ensure your order arrives in good condition, we include FREE cold packs based on your shipping destination and time of year as follows:

  • Year-round in warm southern states (Zone C)
  • June thru September in all 48 contiguous states (Zones A, B, C)
  • October thru May by request in cooler states (Zones A & B)

TO CANCEL OR CHANGE AN ORDER

Orders can only be changed or canceled before shipping. If you want to change or cancel an unshipped order, email us. Please keep in mind that changing an order requires canceling your existing one. Email us if you have any questions about your online order or shopping on ptownfudge.com.


MONITOR YOUR SHIPPED ORDER

Customers must provide a USPS-verifiable shipping address. If we flag an unrecognized shipping address, we may contact the customer to update the shipping address before the order can be fulfilled. 

Provincetown Fudge Factory is not responsible:

  • if a customer provides incorrect shipping information, and the intended recipient doesn’t receive a package at the customer-provided address.
  • if the order is returned-to-sender back to our Provincetown location.
  • for compensating or replacing late orders if inclement weather or USPS service interruptions delay delivery beyond our control.

ONE SHIPPING ADDRESS PER ORDER

Placing an online order requires a shipping address. Our system, like most online stores, ships to only one address per order. So, if you want to send fudge to two or more addresses, you’ll need to place separate orders for each.


SCHEDULE A DELIVERY?

We’ll fulfill your order as soon as we receive it, but unlike a florist, Provincetown Fudge Factory cannot schedule future or specific delivery dates or provide USPS delivery date estimates.

However, USPS does have a handy tool to estimate delivery timelines with their USPS Retail Postage Price Calculator.

Just follow these steps:

  1. Enter Provincetown Fudge Factory’s originating zip code (02657)
  2. Enter the shipping destination zip code
  3. Do NOT check “Ground Transportation”
  4. Select “View Flat Rate Boxes”

This will take you to a new page with the estimated shipping arrival day.


INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Unfortunately, we don’t offer international shipping due to perishable products and shipping logistics. If you’re in Provincetown, please stop by — you won’t be disappointed!

Keeping our wonderful customers happy and satisfied is as important as making incredibly delicious fudge and treats from scratch. If you are unhappy with the quality of any Provincetown Fudge Factory product, we want to hear about it. Please email us so that we can make things right. 

° We guarantee the quality of our products, but due to their perishable nature, please monitor your order’s shipping status. If your package is left outside or exposed to the elements, we can’t guarantee its freshness and quality.


RETURNS

Because of the perishable nature of our sweet treats, returns are only possible on t-shirts.

  • T-shirt returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase and with the original receipt.
  • The t-shirt being returned must be unused and in the same condition as received.
  • T-shirt returns are eligible for store credit or a t-shirt exchange of equal value. 

TO RETURN T-SHIRTS BY MAIL:

  1. Email us your order number to request a USPS return label.
  2. We’ll email the return label to you for printing and affixing to your original shipment box (if available) or comparable packaging.
  3. Then drop your return package at the post office.

RETURN T-SHIRTS IN-STORE
If you plan to visit Provincetown (and we hope you are), return your t-shirt for an exchange or store credit at our store at 210 Commercial Street. Bring the credit card used for your online order.
